Abstract

While enterprise digital transformation increasingly demands frictionless synchronization between frontline consumer touchpoints and back-end supply chains, existing operational models frequently suffer from structural decoupling across heterogeneous enterprise architectures. Investigating an integrated framework that bridges omnichannel service operations with enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems, this study examines longitudinal operational adjustments across multi-business retail enterprises, encountering substantial data latency and schema fragmentation during initial cross-system standardization. Incorporating methodological calibrations to reconcile real-time inventory telemetry with private-domain customer relationship interfaces, the findings indicate that unified data interface standards enhance inventory turnover velocity and cross-channel fulfillment efficiency. Nevertheless, observed productivity gains may to some extent stem from concurrent organizational restructuring rather than solely from programmatic data convergence. Potential survivorship bias among successfully integrated business units also warrants consideration. Considering the above factors, orchestrating enterprise data standards alongside closed-loop private domain operations offers a viable pathway for operational agility, though elucidating the delicate boundary between algorithmic automation and cross-border regulatory compliance suggests that further research is needed.
